INCLUSIVITY, DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND ACCESSIBILITY (IDEA) INITIATIVES
We are building a conference where everyone can reach for the stars. We will be introducing IDEA initiatives in the conference in the hopes of achieving this objective.
SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETERS

COLOR CODE LABELS
We will have qualified sign language interpreters to ensure that deaf and hard-of-hearing participants can fully engage in the conference.
Important areas around the venue will feature braille signage for blind and low-vision participants.
Participants will be given color code labels to show their communication preference:
Green – Open to talk with anyone
Yellow– Prefer familiar faces
Red – Prefer limited or no interaction

Some attendees may have service dogs for medical or psychological support. Please don’t distract or touch them—they’re working!

STUDY ON IDEA INTIATIVES IN PSSARC
The participants will be asked to assess the IDEA initiatives of the conference as part of a study by the organizers.

Several IDEA initiatives will be implemented only on the second day of the conference to test their effectiveness.

Consent to participate in the study will be asked for before the conference via email.
Public exhibits for all
FREE MOBILE PLANETARIUM SHOW, METEORITE AND SCALE MODEL EXHIBIT, AND FILM SHOWING
We are opening the gates of Adamson University to the public for a free entry to a mobile planetarium show, a meteorite and scale model exhibit, and a film showing. We highly encourage interested participants to register as soon as possible to secure slots, as they will be limited.
